What is Silent Mode in Avast Antivirus?

Avast is one of the most well-known security software for computers. It is well-known for its high detection rates and is ranked among the top antimalware applications in independent tests. The company was founded in 1988, and has been operating since then, and has grown to include a variety of antivirus products, as along with a variety other tools for protecting your computer.

Avast’s most recent version comes with an option called Do Not Disturb Mode. This feature shuts down notifications when you are running applications in full-screen mode. The Do Not Disturb Mode can be found in the Performance tab of the Avast main screen. You can turn it on or disable it by unchecking the boxes.

When Do Not Disturb Mode is active All Windows and Avast notifications will be blocked when you’re using any application in full screen. All notifications will be blocked for any application that you launch in full-screen. You can also set Do Not Disturb Mode to only stop notifications from the apps you choose.

This is a very useful feature for coders and hackers who work in a digital space, as it can help them to focus on their work and not be distracted by notifications from Avast or other programs. This allows them to check the quarantined files without being interrupted by alerts or pop-ups. To activate the Do Not Disturb Mode feature you need to click the Gaming icon in the plan tray or start the mode manually by clicking ‘Silent/Gaming mode’ in the Avast main window.
